Hardware All Macs launched in 2011 or later are supported except: It doesn't allow you to set up a generic IMAP/CalDAV/CardDAV account in the first release. Instead, it communicates directly with the server that your mail/calendar/etc data resides on. It syncs directly with Exchange 2007 or later, Office 365, (including legacy and email addresses), iCloud, Yahoo! Mail, and Gmail.
In addition the following are also supported: 2012 Mac Pro “Quad Core” using the Intel® Xeon® W3565 Processor.
